We were delighted when the 22 boys and 6 leaders of the 2013 Charles Wood Boys’ Choir accepted our invitation to spend an ‘Afternoon on the Hill’ in the Library and No 5.
They took time out from practising for the Charles Wood Festival in Armagh, during which they participate in the services, concerts and broadcasts. It was a pleasure to hear several of them singing the Hallelujah chorus while looking at the Cathedral Choir’s copy of Handel’s Messiah.
The Charles Wood Festival & Summer School runs until this Sunday, 25 August 2013.
