As part of the promotion of the 2013 European Heritage Open Days (EHOD), Madelena Grossmann, who is in charge of the initiative throughout Europe, paid a visit to Northern Ireland, including the Hill of Armagh. Ms Grossmann is from the Regional Co-operation Division of the Directorate of Culture and Natural Heritage at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. During her visit, which was organised through the Northern Ireland Environment Agency, she spent time in the Library, where she was welcomed by the Keeper, the Very Revd Gregory Dunstan, and No 5, where she met with the Registry Officer Stephen Day.
