One of our summer student placements, Adam Berry, completed his time with us today. He helped us with the last school visit of the academic year when Year 9 students of History from the Royal School visited us as part of the ‘Robinson Trail’. Adam, a second year student of History at Trinity College, Dublin, has helped the Library in many ways. We will let him explain:
For the past few weeks I have been working as a volunteer in the Library, in areas such as: working with visiting groups, research and archive work. This has given me the chance to meet and work with a variety of groups and people from schools to research groups all of whom have been engaged and interested in what was displayed. In addition it has allowed me to work with a fantastic and helpful staff in an excellent environment and it has been a great experience working here.
