To date £1187 has been raised for the Library’s conservation fund! We are very grateful for all the support that we are receiving.
Thirza says: “The past week has been wonderful with small and big donations flooding in. The fundraising event has now been featured in the local newspapers, on our website, on Facebook, and we hope that we can create maximum exposure for the Library and the work that we do.
I have also received a lot of moral support for the actual running of the marathon, which I appreciate very much. The prospect of running my first marathon can sometimes become quite daunting. But, I have done all the training, and I am sure that I will draw strength from the fact that so many people support me and the Library!”
