Recently we welcomed Fr Mark Ephrem and other members of the Benedictine Community for an Afternoon on the Hill. Fr Mark is also a Canon of St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh and it was a pleasure to see him and his fellow Benedictine Monks of Holy Cross Monastery, Rostrevor on the Hill of Armagh. As our visitors do when on a visit to the Hill of Armagh, they included both No 5 and the Library. There were three librarians in the group, so the Library was of particular interest, especially with holdings referring to the Abbey of Bec and to the Benedictine Order.
