Armagh’s famous Georgian Day took place in the city on Saturday 26 November and both the Library and No 5 took part in the splendid start of the Christmas season.
Living History Characters assisted Library and Registry staff and volunteers to greet over 200 visitors that day. “Mrs Charlotte Smith” graced the Library and told visitors of life in Armagh in 1786, when the Library was only 15 years old. Meanwhile the “Reverend Ross” met visitors and talked of his reason for visiting the former Registry.
