Explore Georgian life and etiquette with our resident living history character Mrs Smith.

In Georgian times the art of caricature, a picture of a person where facial characteristics are exaggerated to create a comic effect became very popular.

For Georgian Day, caricaturist John Farrelly will be in the Library from 12 noon to 4.30pm to draw free caricatures of our visitors!
