Chesapeake Youth Orchestra will be in Armagh this week. The orchestra is based in Annapolis, Maryland, USA and provides young musicians, aged eight to eighteen years, with comprehensive musical and orchestral training. As part of their visit, the flute ensemble players gave a recital in the Library.
On Thursday 30 June 2016 the full Orchestra will give a concert in St Patrick’s Church of Ireland Cathedral at 7.30pm. Their programme will include works by Schubert, Dvorak, and a world premiere by Irish composer Finola Merivale.
