This video introduces the Rokeby Collection of prints held at Armagh Robinson Library, Northern Ireland’s oldest public Library, and a 15-month project funded by The Paul Mellon Centre to catalogue and research the collection. Comprising almost 4,500 prints by many of the most significant British and European engravers working in the 15th-18th centuries the collection is still held in the library Archbishop Richard Robinson, 1st Baron Rokeby, had built to house it and the other collections he bequeathed to the public.
