Vacancy – Project Officer ‘Promoting Understanding Through Collections’ 

We are currently seeking to appoint a full-time Project Officer (35 hours/week) on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

This role will involve co-ordinating a ‘Promoting Understanding Through Collections’ Project, which is being funded by the Irish Government’s Reconciliation Fund, administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs.

The Project will examine the papers of the former Church of Ireland Archbishop, The Rt Revd the Lord Eames, through cataloguing of his archive, digitisation/photography, interpretative and outreach events. The Project Officer will undertake all cataloguing, research, event planning, marketing/PR, volunteer management and administrative duties relating to the Project.
