The Long Room in Armagh Robinson Library is available for hire. It is a unique venue, suitable for meetings, conferences, launches, talks and intimate concerts.

The atmosphere of this wonderful Georgian library makes a special occasion of any event.

The Long Room has a capacity of 50 people, when seated.

Power point and screen are available, as well as a laptop, cordless microphone and a lectern.

We do not have a stage.

Layout options Long Room

There are several layout options available when hiring the Long Room for your event.

Rows

Room hire set up : straight lines

Short straight rows, with access from either end, facing a short end of the Long Room.

Semi-circle

Room hire set up : herringbone

Longer rows set in a wide semi-circle, with access from the sides and the centre aisle, facing the central point of the Long Room.

Tables

We have two large tables available that would seat 8-10 people each. These can be combined to make one large table.

In addition we have a number of foldable tables available, that would seat 6 each.
