Armagh Robinson Library is raising an endowment fund to generate long-term income to sustain its services. The National Lottery Heritage Fund has awarded it a grant to match donations £1: £1 up to a total of £1 million over four years. Donations of £300,000 have been received. We aim to raise a further £700,000 by March 2022.
The Library wishes to receive expressions of interest from appropriately qualified professionals for appointment as Fundraising Manager, to secure major donations from private and corporate philanthropy in Ireland, the United Kingdom and internationally. Membership of the Institute of Fundraising is expected and a successful track record in this type of fundraising is essential.
Armagh Robinson Library is the oldest publicly-accessible library in Northern Ireland, a registered Visitor Attraction and an Accredited Museum in the heart of Armagh City.
