The Library was very pleased that the Centre for Cross Border Studies booked the Long Room to hold the Inaugural Sir George Quigley Memorial Lecture. Entitled ‘Competitiveness on the Island of Ireland’, the lecture was given by Professor Frances Ruane, Former Director of the Economic and Social Research Institute.
