On Saturday 30th November the Library and No 5 will, as in previous years, participate in Georgian Day. Both buildings will be open to visitors from 10.00am – 4.00pm and Library staff and volunteers will be available to greet visitors and talk about the Library, No 5, and the collections.
Two Living History characters, ‘Mrs Smith’ and Archbishop Robinson’s ‘chaplain’ will be present to add to the Georgian atmosphere.
Another Living History character – ‘Mr Irwin, a gentleman of the City’ will conduct three walking tours through the city, at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Each walking tour will end with on the Hill of Armagh, so that visitors can visit the Library, No 5 and the Cathedral. The tours will start in the City Centre at the Danske Bank.
