Queen Camilla visit to the Library

On Thursday 25 May we welcomed Queen Camilla to the Library!

She met with school children from the The Drelincourt School, and some of the dedicated library volunteers.

She also spoke with members from the Dementia NI Empowerment Group, who discussed the role that libraries play in making people living with Dementia feel safe and welcome.

Library Assistant-Keeper Carol Conlin showed the Queen Jonathan Swift’s own, annotated, first edition copy of his book Gulliver’s Travels.
