Following an invitation given by the Keeper last year, the US Consul General visited the Library while on official business in Armagh. Mr Dan Lawson had requested to see the first edition of Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift. He also took time to view our copy of the American Atlas by Thomas Jefferys and of the map which showed his home area as it was recorded in 1776.
